"The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone."
Welcome to my new site; I'm glad you've landed here --- on the page of a recovering runner, novice blogger, writer, would-be poet, devoted Catholic and oh yeah, that most important title of all, proud swim Mom. Check out "About" for a brief bio, if you wish. But for this, my "inaug" blog, I thought I'd choose a verse from today's scripture.
The thing about rejection is, it leaves you in the unique position of having nowhere to go but up -- and that can be a very good thing! A little adversity not only builds character and resolve, it can actually brace you for more daunting hurdles down the road. So --- when you're feeling down or defeated, remember that the stone the builders rejected ultimately became the cornerstone. Don't fret getting knocked down every now and again; after all, that's the best vantage point for laying a solid foundation for the future. Happy Friday, all!
