"Shout joyfully to God, all the earth, sing praise to the glory of his name; proclaim his glorious praise."
All over the world today, folks are celebrating the third rock from the sun and the big 'old round hunk we call home. Pretty awesome in splendor, isn't it?
And we should give due props to the Architect. After all, He handed it over in pristine shape; soaring mountains, lush woodlands, clear blue oceans, bubbling brooks, blossoming buds, sprawling shade trees and, oh yes, that big, beautiful ball of fire to light and heat it all. The moon and stars ain't to shabby, either. Sure, it came with insects, but still --are we doing our best to maintain this tremendous gift? Hmm.
Today, we remind ourselves and one another that we need to be good stewards of this wonderful world -- and grateful to He who provided it. Happy Earth Day!
