GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
It could be something uttered out of frustration. It could be an intentional slight or a malicious steer in the wrong direction. Perhaps it was even just a clumsy old dumb move.
But every now and again, we all misstep when it comes to having our friends' and/or colleagues' backs ... and sometimes even our family members.
We humans certainly are an imperfect lot, aren't we? Making snide remarks, being impatient, outright fibbing here and there. Hmpf and sigh.
The good news is: it's never too late to right a wrong. Never. Especially when you are truly, authentically, unequivocally and dadgum sorry for what you have done.
Tell your boss or your co-worker or your BFF or your sister that you didn't mean it. And mean it. Oh, and when the shoe is on the other foot, wear it without complaining; even if it gives you a blister, capisce? Oh and hug. A lot.
