I have to admit that, at first, I was skeptical. Not so much about the pillow. I mean, some people swear by it while others are underwhelmed, I suppose. Either way. It was another little thing gnawing at me every time he'd come across my screen hawking his invention. I couldn't help but wonder if that owner dude, Mike Lindell, was maybe using that big cross he wears on a chain around his neck to appeal to Christian viewers...and you know, sorta sell more pillows to them, yo. So, I thought on it. For a bit. Then I sort of forgot about Mike Lindell. Sorry, dude. And out of mind was he...until a few days ago when he was one of the U.S. business owners to encourage others to use resources for aiding healthcare workers et al during a press briefing at the White House Rose Garden. After explaining how his factory is making desperately-needed masks to help with the national shortage (good deal, Mike), he went off script and gave an editorial. In part, he said: "God gave us grace on November 8, 2016, to change the course we were on ...God had been taken out of our schools and lives. A nation had turned its back on God. I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the Word, read our Bibles and spend time with our families." Lindell mentioned that the President "gave us so much hope" noting the good state of the economy immediately preceding the pandemic outbreak. "With our great President, Vice President and this Administration and all the great people in this country praying daily, we will get through this and get back to a place that's stronger and safer than ever." Well, I've always been a believer in the Big Guy, but now I'm a fan of Lindell, too. Couldn't agree more that what the humans need most of all is LOVE, PATIENCE, COMPASSION, KINDNESS & PRAYER. And those are clear markers of the Man Upstairs...I call Him God, the Father though He goes by many names. No matter what you call Him, please, just call Him, Capsice? Hang in there, we'll get through this --- together. #InItTogether #AloneTogether #StayAtHome #Pray #Peace

Amen! How sad that, with all those titans of industry lining up at the podium in the Rose Garden, just itching to talk about how their companies are prepared to save us, it took the 'My Pillow Guy' to remind us to pick up our bibles, pull family close and reconnect with the ONE who truly saves.
