GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Sometimes even the best of us is at a loss for words. It could be that we're overwhelmed by grief or gratitude or shock or hilarity. But whatever the case; there are those moments in which, for whatever reason, we are blindly grasping for the right thing to say. Hmm.
At those times, I find it best to stay silent for a bit. Take one or two or 75 deep breaths and meditate briefly. For me, this includes a prayer to the Holy Spirit for guidance in finding words of wisdom, kindness, peace and positivity. And then I usually open my mouth and insert my foot. KIDDING! He never fails me.
Not sure what to say? Stop. Think. Reflect. Seek the right answer. Breathe. Think some more. THEN, speak.
R. Alleluia, alleluia. For steadfast is his kindness toward us, and the fidelity of the LORD endures forever. R. Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News. Alleluia Jn 15:16- I chose you from the world, to go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord. Gospel Mk 16:15-18- Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them: "Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.
