GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
I came home to the loveliest surprise yesterday. Yes, of course Monica Kimerer, the world's cutest Boxer, sloppily and adoringly greeted me. #happiestdogontheplanet Beyond that, however, I got the most curious piece of snail mail...a card from an address I knew was familiar though its exact point of origin escaped my aging mind. Then, there it was. Quite possibly the most eloquent, heartfelt, special, wonderful and amazing thank you card I've ever received. My sweet pal Jen, whose sophomore Honors English classes I was honored to speak to last week, had each and every one of said teens pen me a personal thank you. #cryinghappytears To say that it touched me would be a gross understatement. I gushed and gushed about it for about one hour non-stop. And then again later that night...and a little this morning -- and the day is young, people. THANK YOU, sweet high schoolers for making an old gal feel special by taking the time to show such thoughtful consideration; for reinforcing my faith that our future is in good hands; and for validating the message that your wonderful teacher and I are trying to impart: WORDS MATTER. #grateful #blessed HEB13:1-8 Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. PS 27:1, 3, 5, 8B-9ABC R. (1a) The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life's refuge; of whom should I be afraid?
