Man I love Christmastime.

When else can you flip on the radio and just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting -- well, you know.

Or see your street block lit up like Times Square in the dead of night?

Or watch Hallmark happy ending movies that tell sugary sweet love stories in a concise two-hour block? Oh, right, is IS the Hallmark channel so, pretty much every day. I digress.

When else are you willing to stay up until 2AM on a Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, just to finish baking your fourth batch of Snickerdoodles?

Or walk into work to find surprise, wonderful, thoughtful gifts from some secret Santa on your desk periodically? P.S I WILL find out who you are, so I can properly THANK YOU, you sweetie pie!!!! 

And when can you just openly gush with love about the message of the Christ child? Hmm; should be any old time in a land of free speech, no? Uh, yeah.

But it's so comforting at this time of year to be able just immerse ourselves in heartfelt kindness and good will for others and peace, isn't it? 

I am so respectful of all the winter holidays. Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends! Happy Kwanzaa to all my pals who celebrate it! And cheers to everyone observing a holy or holiday of significance for them. Truly I wish everyone joy and serenity.

But, just for the record, Catholics/Christians are people, too. And we aren't trying to exclude anyone with our celebration because ALL ARE WELCOME to it with us. All day. Every day. 

A week from tomorrow ... or April 17, 2020 or July 10, 2025 ... you get me. Love to all, all the time, 'cuz that's how we roll...and that's #WJWD, Capisce?
