GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Ding dang that Brad Paisley.

I was finishing up my eye makeup in the car the other day when it happened. Oh, don't worry, Kerry was driving.

Just after I put that last bit of mascara on my lashes as we headed to a graduation party, I heard the strains of Paisley's latest country hit song emanating from the car speakers.

Using a fake ID at a college bar...Getting caught with a girl in the backseat of a car...Running out on the field for the senior game wearing number 17...There's a last time for everything

"Crap," I said out loud.

"What's wrong?" asked my hubby. "It's just that i finally finished my face and now this song about how short life is and how you need to cherish every single second comes on and ... well, now I'm going to have to start all over again," I said as the tears began streaming down my cheeks.

Throwing the ball with the first dog you ever had...Spending all day on the lake with your grandad...Watching Glenn Frey sing "Already Gone" at the Forum in LA...There's a last time for everything... Kissing goodbye on her porch and driving away...Introducing her as your fiancee...Getting woke up at 5 am to see if Santa came...There's a last time for everything

I love you and hate you, Brad Paisley. #raccooneyes

He's right, though, you know.

Shopping for the perfect suit for Homecoming...laughing with your Mom on the patio swing...bonding with your son over "Stranger Things"...

SNIFF. HARD GULP. SNIFF SOME MORE...

Okay, Peeps, you get it.  Life's short. Hug lots.

Ps 105:16-17, 18-19, 20-21- R. (5a) Remember the marvels the Lord has done. When the LORD called down a famine on the land and ruined the crop that sustained them, He sent a man before them, Joseph, sold as a slave. They had weighed him down with fetters, and he was bound with chains, Till his prediction came to pass and the word of the LORD proved him true. R. Alleluia. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the peoples set him free. He made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions. Alleluia Mk 1:15 The Kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe in the Gospel.

Yep, Kenny is also terrific. Country music and Irish music = you're either laughing your head off or bawling your eyes out!!!
