![]() GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Sponsored by hbkcpa.com/consultants/melissa-crowley/ You know the best thing about having insomnia? Yeah, okay, you sorta of have me there. It seems there really isn’t a BEST thing about it. According to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF), insomnia or the inability to fall or stay asleep is a bonafide health ailment that impacts between 30 and 40 percent of Americans every year. More women than men seem to be plagued by it. #notsurprised Well, the ones who reported it, anyway. The other ones might have been napping during the survey. #ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Sigh. Is lost sleep every really found? What is it about 3AM that attracts my consciousness so? If an infomercial plays at 2:45AM but only four people are awake to view it; did it really air? And, if insomnia is caused by sleep disorders, then what the heck is insomnia? #soconfused For the answers to these and other burning questions, which are literally keeping me up at night, tune into Sunday's column: "Last One to Sleep's a Rotten Pedi Egg." PS 117:1bc, 2 R. (Mark 16:15) Go out to all the world and tell the Good News. Praise the LORD, all you nations;glorify him, all you peoples! For steadfast is his kindness toward us, and the fidelity of the LORD endures forever. Alleluia See Jn 15:16 I chose you from the world, To go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord. Gospel Mk 16:15-18 Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them: "Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents with their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them.
