GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

Sometimes, we just need to think like children.

Not in a stamp-your-feet, refuse nap time, fold your little arms across your chest and turn your nose up at your veggies, "terrible twos" type of way ... but in the sense that children look at the world though expectant, hopeful, unbiased, trusting and innocent eyes.

When you were little, you found happiness in simple pleasures; you made friends easily and often, hugged with reckless abandon and thought an ice cream sundae and a kiss from Mom could solve any problem in the wide world. You were filled with optimism and didn't even know it.

Think back to those happy times; take a fresh perspective on what really matters in life and just take life one happy little day at a time -- treating others just like you want them to treat you.

Be childlike in your approach to the day, every day ...and oh, the places you will go!

Jesus said: "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the Kingdom of  God like a child will not enter it." Then he embraced the children and blessed them, placing his hands on them.

What a pleasant thought! We do need to look at the world through a child's eye sometimes. Think of all that we are missing otherwise!
