GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
For a great many of us, asking for help shows a sign of weakness.
Maybe it's making everything on the Easter dinner table from scratch by yourself. Perhaps it's a work assignment you are hesitant to delegate. It could possibly even be accepting a literal hand; as in not letting somebody help you carry your bags to the car when you're clearly bogged down beyond a comfortable amount. Hmpf.
The good Lord didn't put us on this third rock from the sun alone, capisce? There are very few situations in life not made better by assistance or caring from another person. When you need a hand, take it. When you see someone in need of a hand, give it. Pride is a shallow, fleeting fancy; he'll leave you heartbroken. Dump him now.
And take a little help every now and again. Except with the crossword puzzle; that you can do alone.
Alleluia Mt 4:23 R. Alleluia, alleluia. Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom and cured every disease among the people.
