Sponsored by: karenament.burganrealestate.com/ PS 23: 1-6 The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul. He leads me in right paths For His Name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff - they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord My whole life long.
Have you ever noticed how your least favorite of something is always the most prominent among the offerings?
For instance, there's a Sirius XM radio station for every music genre from Death Metal to um, Country Music from 1961 but no Autumn Jazz? All you want to hear is a little Autumn Jazz, you dig?
Or, there are 497 TV channel options available through your new cable TV package including Netflix and the Bella Lagosse Comedy channel but not Hulu. All you really want is Hulu, anyway. Well, okay maybeF/X, Bravo, the Hallmark Channels, and the Food Network, too. Alright, and Netflix.
But still, though! Grrr.
Or what about the whole candy conundrum? Like, when all you want out of the Hershey Miniatures bag are the Special Dark chocolates and there are two. Two. In the entire freaking bag. Ooh, but the Mr. Goodbars (blech) --- there are 265 of those buggers.
Same theory applies to favorite-colored M&Ms (not that they taste any different) or favorite-flavored sodas in the vending machine. WHY, WHY, WHY IS THERE NEVER ANY COKE ZERO?????????? Ahem.
Or why is it that you keep encountering the same soul-crushing, psyche-deflating, all-around ego-killing conversation with that one person in your world whom you least desire to be dealing with -- but for whatever reason remains in your orbit? #SomeThingsAreSoHardToUnderstand
And then, just when you feel too spent to even give a tiny little mouse chip (opposed to a big 'ol cow pie, you dig?), it happens.
A sign from above through a friend who compliments your work or a relative who tells you on the D-L you're their fave ...
Or a well-timed encouraging e-mail...in the form of the daily scripture...that looks like it was sent just for you that day. #GodIsReal #LookForSigns
And BAM! Just like that, you realize "Crazy" as it seems, you "Fall to Pieces" for 1961 country music, after all. #PatsyClineRocked Hang in there, pals!
