One Year Ago, I Was Ecstatic!

We humans do this habitually. We notice the date and immediately morph into another place at some other instant ala "Star Trek" time warping, am I right?

Most often, it's because we are jolted into yesteryear by a happy recollection; like dancing on your wedding day ... or giving birth to your child ...

Or visiting a famous author's home as you bask in the warmth of his brilliance -- and the Florida sun. #ErnestHemingwayHouse #SpringBreak2018 #KeyWestIsMyHappyPlace

I digress.

The point is: it's those one-offs, those happy moments peppered throughout this very brief ride we call life on earth, that make the whole thing worth the price of admission (which somebody else paid, BTW, just sayin').

Live well by REALLY being there -- by doing good -- by appreciating all you have -- by giving all you're able to give -- and by loving more than you ever imagined you could.
