Raincoat on a Duck

GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I was thinking of starting my own business. Maybe manufacturing rain slickers for ducks. Or making a bubble bath line for boars.

Then again, I might just start creating parkas for Polar bears or nail polishes for Ninjas.

Either way, I figure the several decades worth of experience I have accumulated will make success a foregone conclusion. Because, trust me when I tell you that the amount of time I have wasted worrying about things I cannot control is considerable. And just about as useless as all the above-mentioned product lines.

Hmpf.

It's true that if worries were dollars, your pal PK here would be wealthy enough to take a nice little chunk out of the gross national debt.

Sigh.

So, I'm going to make a concerted effort, starting today, to take the sound advice of delaying my anxieties about the things beyond my control until tomorrow. And the next day. And the next.

Alrighty then, I'm putting those worries inside a helium balloon...and letting go of the string, yo.
