There are those people on planet earth who are just exceptional.
You know the type: selfless, kind, giving, affable, self-deprecating, and basically just super-duper wonderful all the way around.
The kind of folks who all-at-once inspire you to be a better version of you ... and sorta make ya feel a little bad that you didn't aspire to it a lot sooner, you dig?
Jimmy Sutman is one of those humans. I consider myself lucky to know him. That's him in the center wearing the ball cap and bow tie (signature Jimmy fashion)...posing with some other fine dudes I know, and with whom I happen to work at my day job. #GoodGuys
Yesterday, I was on hand to see the company for which Jimmy is the Director of Operations, Golden String, Inc., get a really big, very much needed, and tremendously well-deserved $750,000 grant from the Mahoning Valley Hospital Foundation.
This will enable Jimmy and his team at Golden String help a whole bunch of other fine humans. By the by, Golden String is a non-profit organization that offers recreational activities to children and adults with special needs.
These monies will help Jimmy and co. establish a four-seasons camp at Farmer Casey's Ranch, a fabulous little spot offering soothing, entertaining activities to clients; it opened in 2003. Man that boy knows how to pay it forward.
I'm only scratching the surface of all the good Jimmy does. He sure is a keeper that one. Certainly makes this schlub want to do better, Capsice?
