![]() SPONSOR: www.linkedin.com/in/keithverescpa/ Ps 87: O happy Virgin, you gave birth to the Lord; O blessed mother of the Church, you warm our hearts with the Spirit of your Son Jesus Christ. It's so sad ... that day. You know the rotten one of which I speak. That cold, dreary day when you have to look in the mirror and face the truth. Gulp. No, not that you have under-eye bags so heavy that they would evoke a surcharge on a flight. Or that you have more crow's feet than a highway littered with possum parts. Or that your age spots are multiplying faster than bunnies in springtime. Clearly, these truths are self-evident, as Honest Abe would say. But I'm talking about another harsh reality: the fact that some of the people in your life may actually not be the heroes or hero-ettes you may have always held them up to be. Sigh. It's difficult to admit that certain folk who should have your back always and in all ways are really just snickering about you behind it. More sighing. But, let not your heart be troubled because, as with most situations on the third rock, the reverse is also true. Maybe that person at work you thought was your nemesis will actually reveal himself as your advocate. Perhaps that family friend you always assumed disliked you is really just refreshingly honest ... and funny as all get out, BT dubs. And it might just even be that the person you thought -with absolute certainty- was gunning for your defeat by seemingly shoving you out of the way is just walking the mine field ahead of you...so you won't blow yourself to smithereens, yo. Yes, friends, it hurts when a comrade-in-arms uses 'em to throw an uppercut your way...even more so when it's done while no one else is watching the match. OUCH. But there's someone up there with lots more clout who absolutely, unshakably, always, in all ways is on your side -- no matter what. Hang in there, Peeps, because just like the Big Dude and Nationwide Insurance, I'm on your side, too. #BelieveInYourself #BeStrong #HaveFaith #Pray #Peace
