GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I hate it when I don't take my own advice. #irony

I know, I know, I've been telling y'all to stop and smell the poinsettias...well, scented Christmas candles, anyway.

Poinsettias don't really have a smell. And, if they do...it typically ain't good, you dig?

I digress.

I can't lie. I'm am about two dongs of the "Carol of the Bells" away from a full-on Christmas panic.

I can truly say I have NEVER BEEN THIS FAR BEHIND ON MY CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS BEFORE...like, ever. In my whole life. Period. #freakingout

Then again; what's the worst that could happen? So I miss a few zzz's the next few nights...it's not like that's never happened before. #sleepisoverrated

I'm telling myself what I keep reminding all of you out there: we'll get 'er done.

And even if the cookies are misshapen, the wrapping paper is askew and the turkey takes an extra 20 minutes to make it to the holiday table...the end result will be the same. #Christmasismagical

The Christ Child brought us the light of the world ... and on Monday, we gonna shine that light like nobody's business, capisce? #allwillbewell

Alleluia, alleluia. O Emmanuel, our King and Giver of Law: come to save us, Lord our God! Gospel Lk 1:39-45 Mary set out in those days and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.  When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, "Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.  And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy.  Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled."
