GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Everyone's great at something. Everyone.

Some people are great at a few things and a few people are great at a lot of things. But everyone is great at something; at least one thing. Oh yes you are.

There will always be someone out there who tries to convince you otherwise. That naysayer who tells you you can't. That wolf gnawing away at your self-confidence. That critic highlighting your flaws instead of your outstanding attributes. #jerkface

The heck with that guy or gal. Pfft. Flick him off your shoulder and out of your psyche like crummy old stink bug. Boom; out the kitchen window, yo.

You have worth. You have a distinct attribute that defines your competence. You have a quality, characteristic, trait or skill in which you are gifted. You have that certain something ... in something that distinguishes you from anyone else in the wide world. Maybe even you don't know what it is yet. So --- find it.

Then again, maybe you do know what it is but, right now, you're the only one.

Which is why you need to be your own best advocate; not in an arrogant or conceited way but with a confidence that lets the world (and that nasty old doubter) know your greatest asset, your defining trait, your incredible worth.

Believe in yourself -- because you rock.

Now get out there and rock!

MT 5:13-16-Jesus said to his disciples, ...“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Alleluia, alleluia.Let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
