Spons: www.cailorfleming.com/ hbkcpa.com/consultants/james-dascenzo/ https://chickfilasouthernpark.com/. “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.”Let’s get the first order of business out of the way, shall we? THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO: -Healthcare workers of all types and in all roles at all facilities, -Police officers, firefighters, first responders, and all medical and rescue workers of any and all kind; -Truck and other vehicle drivers transporting vital goods and products; -Owners, operators, and team members of grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants and other facilities selling basic human necessities for delivery, drive-through, takeout, or pick-up; -Those members of the government and media working hard to implement positive change and objectively inform; -Teachers, childcare, daycare, in-home, and all types of caregivers; -Small and large business owners continuing to employ, offer healthcare benefits to, and/or insure their staff members; -Priests, nuns, pastors, deacons, clergy men and women, spiritual leaders, and counselors/therapists; and -EVERYONE WHO IS HELPING THE OTHER HUMANS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, great or small. That being said — life is really weird and scary right now, yo. Yikers. But, in the interest of trying to help the other humans in a small way (hopefully make them smile a little), I’ve compiled a list of things that I consider the benefits of being home A LOT. Now, I must admit that, homebody though I am, this whole cooped up in the casa thing is MEH, to say the least. However, perhaps there are some slight advantages to hunkering down...other than the obvious related to you-know-what. Some of them are, in no particular order, include: -Spending extra time with Kyle Kimerer. -Making homemade dinners for my family daily -- breakfasts and lunches, too, BT Dubs. —Playing with Monnie, who is suddenly not confined to her crate most of the weekday! -Catching up on sleep — kinda. I mean, I fall asleep early but then I'm wide awake at 2AM —either way... -Hanging out with Kyle Kimerer. -Organizing the lazy Susan for the first time in 21 years. -Keeping up on the laundry instead of doing 47 loads on Saturday. -Self care: bubble baths, mani/pedis, and hair colorings a plenty! -WATCHING THE CHRISTMAS MOVIE MARATHON ON HALLMARK CHANNEL!!! -Shooting the breeze with Kyle Kimerer. Here’s the thing about being home bound: it isn’t the end of the world -- especially if everyone in said home is healthy and safe, Capisce? I mean, Dorothy did teach us that there's no place like home, after all. I know, that one was too obvious. Gimme a break, I've been up since 1:15AM ... on Friday, 'kay? I might be drinking too much coffee at home. Oh well. Hang in there, Peeps; we’re gonna make it. I really believe that and it’s what I’m praying so hard for from my little home base, a'ight? Hope y’all are doing the same. #BePatient #BeKind #WeWillGetThroughThis #Together #Love #Peace #Pray
