Sponsor: hbkswealth.com/staff/anthony-j-scrocco/ Jn 6: Jesus said, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst."Have you ever noticed how noisy it's gotten here on the third rock? Sigh. From traffic to white noise from radios and televisions to non-stop chatter at home, work, the store (pretty much everywhere but church and the library) to the constant chirping, dinging, chiming, and otherwise ringing from your computer, your smart phone, and your ... Hmm. Well, everyone uses their smart phone for pretty much everything requiring timed notifications of any sort. So, it's clearly a chief offender of the relentless assault on the ears of the average homosapien. That thing sitting in your den or attached to the wall or mounted elsewhere in the home that has a land phone line attached to it; yeah, that's pretty much the only thing that isn't full of noise -- since no one uses it anymore. Except telemarketers...talk about NOISE! And then, when you finally do get, say, a block of quiet time (probs like 6.5 minutes), it's oozing with tinnitus. For those of you lucky enough not to have it, this is a steady, high-pitched ringing in the ears. Did I mention it intensifies in silence. Sigh. Sometimes, ya gotta fight fire with fire. So, if you're having an "ANNOIED by all the NOYZ" day...slap on your earbuds or headphones or shoot, even those silly foam-covered thingies attached to your old Walkman and jam out to your favorite tunes. It won't do much to help your tinnitus ... but it will certainly soothe your soul. And it will definitely drown out all the other noise tramping over your day. Be Calm & Rock On! #Jam #Pray #Peace
