GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Well, here it is: another made up holiday, no?
I'm sorry; I shouldn't be so flippant but, um, #nationalbossesday Hmm. Yeah, about that...it's kind of bogus, no?
I mean, if you're a great boss, your reward is a super team -- because if you HAVE a great boss, you are a happy, productive staff member. So, it's kind of just a neat little circle of goodness.
Don't get me wrong, I am ALL about giving praise and thanks and kudos...hence the name of the blog, yo.
All I'm saying is, if we're doing things the right way, these types of "Attaboy!" "Attagirl!" "I appreciate you!" and "You are a rock star!" kinds of conversations are happening all the time. #gratefuleveryday
So, give your boss man or lady props today...but don't forget tomorrow, either, Capisce?
Wouldn't hurt you to thank the real Boss up there every now and again, either; just sayin'...
Ps 98:1bcde, 2-3ab, 3cd-4 R. (2a) The Lord has made known his salvation. Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm. The LORD has made his salvation known: in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice. He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation by our God. Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise. Alleluia Ps 95:8 R. Alleluia, alleluia. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
