GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
"Rules were meant to be broken."

Whoever wrote that line did not play well with others. #therulesapplytoeveryone

Look, whether it's the sheriff or the mall cop or the HR Director or the Principal or the security officer or the head coach or your MOM...the enforcer of the rules is doing so to keep order in the house; to assure harmony among the ranks -- and to secure safety.

Rules --whether they are laws, edicts, regulations, tenets, standards, vows, codes, or ethics-- are made to be kept. Playing, working and living by the rules isn't an option. Fair is fair, period.

Exception, concession, immunity, compromise -- these are all considerations when approached honestly, out in the open and backed by indisputable, honorable and evidentiary support.

But cheating is cheating, yo. And no one likes a cheater.

Don't be that guy or girl.

Or you are going to be passed over for that promotion, get kicked off the board, sit the bench, lose your tenure, get escorted from the premises or be put in the corner...of a small room...with bars on one wall...and a lock that only opens from the outside, capisce?

Rule #1: Follow the rules.

Ps 19:8, 9, 10, 15 R. (John 6:63b) Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life. The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The decree of the LORD is trustworthy, giving wisdom to the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart. The command of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eye.The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; The ordinances of the LORD are true, all of them just. Let the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart find favor before you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. 2 Cor 6:2b Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
