![]() Sponsored by www.magnoliasonthegreensalon.com We all have them. Those situations in life where mere words fail. Something unsettling has occurred. There is heartbreak. There is loss. Someone we love is hurting and we simply don't know what to say. It may not be much to offer, but here's what I have found that can help, at least in some small way, to better an impossibly sad situation... PRAY. It never makes anything worse, Capisce? It can only help ... and in droves. Skeptics will scoff but there is real power in prayer. I have seen it, felt it and believe it with all of my heart. HUG. Sometimes this is all there is to do. Again, it's almost never the wrong answer in any situation. BE. As in, just be there. Hold a hand. Touch a shoulder. Bring flowers, tissues, coffee, or, if you are like my family, food. Lots and lots of food. Preferably with some type of chocolate sprinkled in among the delivery. Ice cream might not be the worst idea, either. When words fail, just let your heart speak for you, friends. Because love is not only understood deeply, genuinely and universally, but it's always the right size, fit, color, shape, make and model ... and it's calorie and carb free to boot. Hang in there, friends...rainbows follow the rain for a reason. Blue skies are on their way soon. Remember, He is with you always, in good times and bad. And so is your pal PK. #GiveLoveFreely #ThingsWillGetBetter #ThereIsMoreThanThis #Believe Ps 93:1ab, 1cd-2, 5 R. (1a) The Lord is king; he is robed in majesty. The LORD is king, in splendor robed; robed is the LORD and girt about with strength. And he has made the world firm, not to be moved. Your throne stands firm from of old; from everlasting you are, O LORD. Your decrees are worthy of trust indeed: holiness befits your house, O LORD, for length of days. Alleluia Jn 3:14-15 R. Alleluia, alleluia. The Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
