GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
You know sometimes you say something and the reaction of those around you is, like, 1,000% different than you expected?

It's usually because of the delivery. Or even, an unintended word jumble...on your part.

"Oh, no, no, no! That's not what I mean!" How many times have we all uttered that in a desperate back-peddle situation? #oops

For instance, maybe Kyrie Irving didn't mean to sound so cavalier (pun intended), flippant and frankly ungrateful when he made his declaration that he wanted out of his NBA contract with my beloved Cleveland Cavs by saying he wanted to play someplace where he was the "focal point" of the team.

Hmm. Well, I guess it really HAS been a hardship; drafting off the greatness that is LeBron James. Riding the King's wave not only on the court but in NBA merchandising sales. Following LeBron's lead into three straight NBA Finals games...one leading to a Championship ring, yo.

Some might say that Kyire is being unapppreciative.

Admittedly Kyrie is gifted and arguably the best ball-handler in the league today. He's been wonderful and fabulous and dependable ... mostly.

But it's hard to deny that much of what he has accomplished has been a direct result of his close relationship with LeBron James. #bitingthehandthatfeeds

I guess it's all moot now that he and Isaiah Thomas are swapping spots. But we'll never really, truly know if, in his heart of hearts, Kyrie meant to come across like the spoiled brat that he did.

Luckily for him and for the rest of us humans who occasionally put our feet in our mouths; somebody up there knows exactly what we mean no matter how bad we are at saying it...and if we had good or bad intentions in mind and heart.

Either way, look out Kyrie - we comin' for you opening night, yo... #imeanit
