My beautiful friend Diane shared some breathtaking photos with me recently. They are stunning and bright and poignant and fabulous and intense and remarkable and -- well, you'll see for yourself because I intend to share as many as I can as often as I'm able.

I absolutely cannot thank her enough for her generosity...and her gift. I love this one in particular. It just makes me smile from ear to ear. If I were to title it, I'd call it "Boys will be Joys." At least, that's been my experience. #MomsAndSons

To me, this photo captures some of the world's most innocent, genuine and honest natural beauty.

I mean, what more could you ask for on a gorgeous summer day than to spend it fishing at the lake with your best pal facing a majestic view of the forest and mountains?

​Except for, maybe, a huge angler on the other end of the line...and perhaps some ice cream sandwiches and orange sodas? Ah, life's simplest joys are the best ones.
