Bracelets, Biscotti, & Big Hearts, Oh My!

Sometimes you have to look super-duper hard to find a little hope in the world. 

And sometimes, you just need to glance up the road a piece. Wink.

Because that's where you just might find three little nine-year-old girls hosting a bake sale.

That also boasts handmade bracelets. (Their wee hands.)

And intricately-painted seashells. (Their flare.) 

Did I mention the cookies are homemade biscotti? (Okay, their Moms may have helped a little on that one.)

Either way it might be that these three little angels (who all just recently made their First Communion) are operating a little Italian/American pop-up business, Capisce?

Ella Economos, Alessandra Renn, and Lyla Day are not only cuter than the dickens, but they've also restored my faith in mankind. And womankind. And childkind. And more, importantly, plain old KIND.
 
'Cause here's the moral of the story: this same trio of mini-moguls (they are all little future supermodels, too, BT Dubs) is more than just a super-spirited  entrepreneurial female power-house in the making...they are cherubs who are just as beautiful inside as out.

You see, Ella, Ali, and Lyla have undertaken this little job (for the second consecutive year; check out the last photo from 2018) to raise money for people in need.

Out of the mouths, hands, and hearts of babes stems joy, benevolence, compassion, and empathy well beyond their combined chronology here on the third rock from the sun.

I am not only inspired by these sweet little honey girls, I am renewed in my hope for the future...which has been wearing dangerously thin for the past several months or so.

Thank God, literally, that the future looks not only bright; but full of humanity, kindness, and love, too.
