Ps 5:5-6, 7, 12 R. (9) Lead me in your justice, Lord. For you, O God, delight not in wickedness; no evil man remains with you; the arrogant may not stand in your sight. You hate all evildoers.

The thing about showing a kindness is, it's just so darned easy.

I mean, at least for me, it's really just a reflex -- sort of like chewing or blinking or shivering in the cold, Capisce?

For instance, I find smiling at others to be similar to breathing. You know, just something you do without thinking about it in the slightest.

I think it's entirely natural to feel compassion and empathy toward fellow earth dwellers. We do, after all, have the bond of brotherhood in our humanity connecting us to one another, no?

That is to  say, holding open the door for someone coming through it behind you; offering a hand to a gal with two very full ones; or blessing a random gentleman after he sneezes---well, these are just 'givens' for me.

At the very least, showing a little interest in another homosapien simply by asking how they feel...gosh, it could really mean a lot to the average evolved cave man or woman, dontcha think? Especially on a particularly drab, rainy Monday, yo.

Growing up, I learned three simple rules:
1. Be kind
2. Be kind
3. Be kind
