Days when you walk into the door frame because you lost track of time working on a project and didn't realize you haven't moved a centimeter in three- and-a-quarter hours. This led to both legs simultaneously slumbering and the whole kablam moment. #ThatsGonnaLeaveAMark Days on which you are so tired that you cannot, for the life of you, remember the morning commute. You know you made it in this morning, because here you sit. You vaguely recall staring the car in the wee small hours of the morning, as they say, ... but the rest is pretty much a blur. #HowDidIGetHere Days when you look around and see things that are so ridiculous and unfair and blatantly absurd (and frankly a whole load of hooey), that you just want to smack your own head against a very hard surface. #WhatTheHeck BT Dubs, don't try that one at home ... or, you know, anywhere. Like, ever. Grr. And just when you're about to pop your top all Looney Tunes "thermometer-exploding head off the shoulders" like ... something really worth lamenting happens. Deep, heavy sigh. Just like that, your pins-n-needles legs are super fine, you're perfectly well-rested, and that silliness from earlier fades into the afore-mentioned door jam. And you realize how truly #Blessed you are in your precious, delicate life. So you close your eyes, bow your head, and thank the Lord for this spectacular day, with all its grace, beauty, and bounty. #OneGratefulGirl #Pray Today's blog goes out in honor and memory of one incredible lady. Rest well, Barbara Krauss. Your family, friends, colleagues, admirers, and faithful listeners miss you already.
