Good Job ... do one

GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Everyone likes a good, old-fashioned "attaboy" or "attagirl" once in a while. We humans crave approval and good favor -- at least the majority of us. It's just our nature.

But sometimes we lose sight of how crucial it is to just "keep swimming" as that famous little fish Dori would say. Yes, accolades and recognition for a job well done are always welcome but at work and in life, it's often just as key to stay the course and work steadily and dillgently toward a collective goal for the good of the company, cause, order or fill-in-the-blank. Being earnest and dedicated is more important than being hailed or decorated.

Work hard, be fair and do good because, you know, it's what's right... and because you should. And so should I; and everyone between us. Guess what? Good things are bound to happen from there. I mean, I'm pretty sure in the history of the modern world and organized labor no one ever got fired for trying their best and/or treating colleagues with respect. Just a little something to consider.
