GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
It happens to the best of us. A little mess up. A mistake. An oopsie.
Something you should've said...but didn't. Or something you clearly should NOT have said. Something you forgot. Something you misjudged.
Even with the most noble of intentions, from time to time we humans get ourselves into trouble. Hmpf.
The good news is, it's a rare trouble that can't be amended with a genuine attempt to correct it; an earnest apology for a wrong; and an honest effort to:
1. Fix it as quickly as you can
2. Repair any damage it caused (to the best of our ability)
3. Avoid it in the future
If you really mean an apology and truly wish to right a wrong - it'll happen. So let not your heart be troubled. And try not to put your foot in your mouth whenever possible. ;-)
Jn 14:6. Alleluia, alleluia. I am the way and the truth and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father except through me. R. Alleluia, alleluia. Gospel Jn 14:1-6 Jesus said to his disciples: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?..."
