GRATEFUL GIRL’S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
You may have gotten the notion by now, that I like to think of every day as an opportunity to give thanks. #onegratefulgirl

I may have also mentioned once or twice or 87 million times that the kid in the photo above is the single greatest blessing of my life. #loveyoukyledonald

But he’s not alone.

Today more than ever, I am acutely aware of the many, many gifts that have been granted to me: faith, family, friends, health, LOVE.

Listen, it won’t take any deep soul search search to reveal your blessings. Heck, you can easily find them with one eye closed and both hands tied behind your back. #yourlifeisrich

Every day you awake on the third rock from the sun; well, that’s your first of the day, capisce? #attitudeofgratitude

So don’t be a turkey. As you’re enjoying that big old stuffed bird, all those yams, mashed potatoes and gravy and a veritable cornucopia of desserts, etc., remember to take a moment to thank the Lord for every little blessing He’s sent your way...

And the big ones, too. Happy Thanksgiving, all!

1 THES 5:18 R. Alleluia, alleluia. In all circumstances, give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. Gospel Lk 17:11-19 As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten persons with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!" And when he saw them, he said, "Go show yourselves to the priests."As they were going they were cleansed.  And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice;and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.  He was a Samaritan. Jesus said in reply, "Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?" Then he said to him, "Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.”
