Help, Please...

GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Okay. We have all heard about the terrorist attack at Arianna Grande's concert in Manchester, England yesterday. #prayformanchester

My knee jerk reaction is to forbid my son and his best friend to go to the 21 Pilots concert they have been waiting patiently to see next month. #wronganswer

Am I a terrified mother haunted by the photos of the beautiful faces of the victims of yesterday's tragedy? Yes. Am I nearly paralyzed with fear to send my teenager out into the bad, evil world? Yes. Am I heartbroken for the victims of this latest and every act of murder and terror everywhere? Yes.

Am I going to let evil win? Absolutely freaking 100% no way.

So...next month, as I sit outside the venue waiting for Kyle and Cal to safely emerge from the concert they have been looking forward to for more than a year...I will be praying. Praying for peace; praying for safety; praying for an end to the madness.

We're not without hope, friends. We are armed with the greatest power anywhere; ever. The power of prayer.
