SPONSORS: www.linkedin.com/in/jimdascenzo/ www.companycasuals.com/stitchart/start.jsp/ Mt 11: Jesus said to the crowds: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest..."I've done it. I know you have, too, so don't bother to deny it. I have needlessly, senselessly, wantonly and with full malice made the choice to listen to, view or otherwise experience something I know FULL WELL will make me cry. Every. Single. Time. The question isn't "Do I do this to myself?" rather, "WHY do I do this to myself?" Often and repeatedly. #GluttonForPunishment Fine; I'm a crier. Whatever. TBH, the list of things that make PK well up is longer than Santa's nice and naughty tallies combined. For the past century. Times a thousand. Happiness, sadness, appreciation, frustration, humiliation, love, compassion, anxiety, friendship, pride, patriotism, empathy ... um, extreme hunger? Not really...I get more hangry than weepy then. Either way. If it's remotely emotive, I'm usually good for at least a sniffle. Make no mistake; this is not a sign of weakness in me or other criers. It's just a signal that you're dealing with someone who cares. Like, a lot. But also, maybe is slightly daffy. Okay, now I am speaking only for myself. Because even though I know where it's leading when I watch "The Notebook" or that viral video of the abused puppy wailing because a human is trying to pet him and he doesn't understand gentleness... Or listen to Luciano Pavarotti's rendition of "Nessun Dorma" or read "The Shack" ... or catch even a glimpse of that commercial for Disney World where the little girl is playing with Cinderella and then going off to college the next minute ... Yep, I am fully cognizant of the fact that it's gonna tear me up every day of the week and twice on Sunday, Capisce? Still I do it. I guess because it reminds me of what's important: loving the Big Guy and being grateful for all the peeps and many additional blessings He gave me; treating the other humans well and doing my best to live life honorably and kindly. Well, that, plus, sometimes a girl just needs a good cry, a'ight? Don't judge. #LetItOut #ItsOKToCry #BeKind #Pray #Peace
