Great article, Patty. Just so happens your article published on the first day of my 56th year - so I said goodbye to the ol' double nickels and hello back ache! Spent the weekend canning tomatoes and freezing applesauce - have I officially become my mother? LOL Anyway, last night as I was putting the ice pack on my lower back and checking in on social media, I also learned of even more endings...the great Arnold Palmer passed away (I hate it that it was on my birthday), Jose Fernandez (Miami pitcher) was killed in a terrible boating accident, and Vin Scully retired from broadcasting...it was quite a day! I sure do enjoy your articles...keep up the good work!
