It Can't Snow Forever...Can It?

Of course not! It IS spring, after all!

And even when you have that crummy day that starts with almost getting creamed by a garbage truck when you both start sliding on an icy, snow-covered road toward each other...and progresses to having someone completely demean your life's work...and continues with pretty much every misstep and flaw you've made in the past 48 hours or so being scrutinized and revisited...it's not that bad.

Sigh. And that was all before lunch.

Which you really didn't officially take because you're just sort of too buried under a pile of about 14 gazillion requests for random stuff and from a multitude of sources located across the span of four states. At least they're all in the same time zone, yo.

Then you realize it's the birthday of a dear pal...and your puppy dog. #LoveYouDianeandMonnie You also realize your fave NBA team, which has been struggling for several weeks (or all season) in the rankings, has to play the league leader tonight at 7PM. #ComeOnCavs #BeatToronto

Ooh...and then your teenager unceremoniously dis-invites you to a dinner banquet. 

Hmpf.

Suddenly, you realize you forgot to buy one of the main ingredients for a dinner party of 16 which you are hosting in a few days and for which, BTW, you are woefully unprepared. #FridayWillBeTough

And even after all that; life's still pretty darned good, right? Listen, it's harder some days than others to stay on course and fight the good fight. But that's when it's most important to pick up that sword and shield and make sure the important stuff is taken care of, Capisce?

So, finish as many Deliverables as you can effectively execute them. Get your friend and dog a little something to let them know you're thinking of them.

Grab a bite with your hubby and let your kid have some space...maybe you and your old man can even make a pit stop at the store for an emergency run for mozzarella. #CantHaveLasagnaWithoutIt

Stop. Think. Pray. Breathe. Do what you know you should. Every time. Period. No matter how hard it is. Tomorrow things will be so much sunnier, you dig?
