You can't help but notice him/her. I mean, he/she wouldn't even permit it if you tried.

Attention hounds. They're everywhere on the third rock from the sun.

They show up at work, at school, at church, at the supermarket. They troll the company picnic, the family Christmas party -- heck, even the Ladies Room at the swim meet where, apparently, if you're taking too long at the sink and the mirror is only so big, you get physically moved out of the way.

Listen, lady, everyone's hair looks bad, each of us is sweating buckets and all of our collective makeup is melting off -- it's 482 degrees in the natatorium for all of us not just you, for heaven's sake. No need to hip bump me. Just ask me to step aside when I'm done rinsing my hands and I'm glad to, okay? Sheesh! #SheLiterallyShovedMe #WishIWasJoking 

You know that guy/gal. The "look at me! look at me!" person dropping themselves into the middle of parties, conversations and general life moments ... even if they have no particular business being there. #NotEverythingIsAboutYou

These folks are usually double-jointed (can easily contort themselves for effective self back-patting), double-spoken (typically quick to chat about anyone and everyone who's walked out of earshot) and double trouble, mostly because their complete inability to focus on anyone other than self usually ends up hurting some of the other humans in one way or another, Capisce? #PleaseStayOnTheOtherSideofTheParty

Look, I'm all for being confident and assertive. I hear those are great qualities to have. Wink.

But, please keep in mind that, fabulous as you are, the billions of other homo sapiens existing on this big round ball are right here, too, you dig?

And just FYI: that bright star we keep circling around year after year? Yeah, it's not you, a'ight?
