Sponsored by hbkcpa.com/consultants/james-dascenzo/ Hard as they work in the water and on dry land, swimmers get very little acknowledgment of their efforts. In a football frenzied, beloved baseball and hurray for hoops kind of society, swimmers simply do not get well-deserved respect despite six-day-a-week workouts, double-sessions and year round training. I mean, it's the only sport where you lose points for breathing, okay? #SwimmersAreTough Learn all about this and much other interesting swim stuff in this Sunday's column "Swimmers Get Little Love...& Even Less Press" - stay tuned! PS 95:1-2, 6-7, 8-9 R. (8) If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts. Come, let us sing joyfully to the LORD; let us acclaim the Rock of our salvation. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us joyfully sing psalms to him. Come, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us. For he is our God, and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides.Oh, that today you would hear his voice: "Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the desert, Where your fathers tempted me; they tested me though they had seen my works." Verse Before The Gospel JL 2:12-13 Even now, says the LORD, return to me with your whole heart, for I am gracious and merciful.

I was the frustrated swimmer. I also had that decision before that I wanted to be a swimmer. I also grabbed the opportunity before, but I guess it is really not for me. I am scared of water now since I witness one of my friends drown in the water. I am afraid to look inside water and starts to panic that leads to cramp. I hope that I can overcome this fear and learn to swim as well.
