GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Some days you feel like you're on top of the world. Or, at least on top of Chicago. #willistowerisawesome

And then there are those other days. You know, the ones that make you feel like the world is on top of you. Or at least, Chicago...

Hmpf.

The point is: everyday can't be super fantabulous... otherwise we wouldn't be able to tell the icky ones from the awesome ones, Capicse?

I mean, Christmas wouldn't be magical and extraordinary if it happened every other Tuesday, ya dig?

So yes, today, maybe I'm a little under the world; that's okay. I still have the happy memory of the day I WAS on top of the world, or at least Chicago. And that, my friends was a very, very excellent day. Just the thought of it is making this one a little brighter.

SMILE.

Look, sometimes, you just need to find or remind your own happy. And it's usually not that far away if you think about things in the bigger sense.

Besides, I have every intention of getting right back on top of Chicago someday ... or maybe even the world.

Hey, it could happen! #smile #happyfriday

Jn 10:27 R. Alleluia, alleluia. My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; I know them, and they follow me. R. Alleluia, alleluia. Gospel Lk 14:1-6 On a sabbath Jesus went to dine at the home of one of the leading Pharisees, and the people there were observing him carefully. In front of him there was a man suffering from dropsy. Jesus spoke to the scholars of the law and Pharisees in reply, asking, "Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath or not?" But they kept silent; so he took the man and, after he had healed him, dismissed him. Then he said to them  "Who among you, if your son or ox falls into a cistern, would not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day?"  But they were unable to answer his question.
