GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
It isn't just the disrespect being shown to our national anthem and all it represents.
It isn't just the bad behavior on and off the field.
It isn't the sense of spoiled entitlement running through the organization like an epidemic.
It isn't just the utter lack of leadership or control.
It isn't just the average ticket price of $200 per game ... or the fact that you have to take out another mortgage if you want to get a soda and some nachos while you're there.
It's all of it. Every last bit of it.
Listen, everyone has a right to their opinion. America is a nation of freedom and liberty. I know that not everyone has to share my feelings about the national anthem and the flag being sacred symbols of the sacrifices so many have made and continue to make in order to wrap a nice, warm security blanket around this country and our allies. #thankyourealheroes #army #navy #airforce #marines #coastguard #police #firefighters #firstresponders
That's cool; it's up to them. Just like it's up to me to take a little breather from professional football right now. Because, at least for me, you can keep the NFL and all its circus freak show drama. I've had enough and I'm saying when.
From now on, NFL means I'm Not a Fan of the League. #byebyenfl
Sheesh. And people wonder why I watch "The Walking Dead" on Sunday nights?
Mt 5:16 R. Alleluia, alleluia. Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father. Gospel Lk 8:16-18 Jesus said to the crowd: "No one who lights a lamp conceals it with a vessel or sets it under a bed; rather, he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light. Take care, then, how you hear. To anyone who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he seems to have will be taken away."
