I walked into the railing yesterday...hard. That left a mark.

Kyle dumped a full glass of ice water onto his just-delivered lunch of a grilled chicken sandwich and French fries. Drenched.

Kerry took a face plant when a wave his was trying to jump over turned him upside down. One bloody elbow and skinned up shin.

Hmpf.

Guess what? Yesterday was one of the best days ever, hands down.

Any clear, bright day at the beach, spent with my son and hubby and wallowing in the warmth of the sun and the joy of memory-making is a dang good one, yo.

Watching my son and his Dad battle it out playing old-school video games? Icing on one yummy cake, y'all.
