The thing about smiling is...it's contagious. And ironically, it's also curative.
Because --and I have no analytical data to back me up here but indulge, if you will-- smiling is a prescription-worthy remedy for so many ills.
It can soothe overworking tear ducts, relax frowning facial muscles, start mending the tiny cracks that split hearts in half and effortlessly lift spirits sky high. It's the original anti-depressant!
Smiling is so powerful, it can actually control and diffuse hostile situations. Think about it.
Have you ever seen anyone simultaneously scream, rant, bully, intimidate or menacingly threaten another human being...while smiling? Physically impossible.
Heck, if you really think about it, smiling kinda, sorta saves lives, in a way, no? #SmilingRocks
Bottom line: smiles not only make homosapiens happy, they make us healthy, too. Be sure to fill your little corner of the world with people who make you smile...not the other icky stuff, Capisce?

Ps 31:20, 21, 24 R. (25) Let your hearts take comfort, all who hope in the Lord. How great is the goodness, O LORD, which you have in store for those who fear you, And which, toward those who take refuge in you, you show in the sight of the children of men. You hide them in the shelter of your presence from the plottings of men; You screen them within your abode from the strife of tongues. Love the LORD, all you his faithful ones! The LORD keeps those who are constant, but more than requites those who act proudly. Alleluia Jn 14:23 Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him and we will come to him.
