The thing about smiling is...it's contagious. And ironically, it's also curative.

Because --and I have no analytical data to back me up here but indulge, if you will-- smiling is a prescription-worthy remedy for so many ills.

It can soothe overworking tear ducts, relax frowning facial muscles, start mending the tiny cracks that split hearts in half and effortlessly lift spirits sky high. It's the original anti-depressant!

Smiling is so powerful, it can actually control and diffuse hostile situations. Think about it.

Have you ever seen anyone simultaneously scream, rant, bully, intimidate or menacingly threaten another human being...while smiling? Physically impossible.
