Sponsored by Keith A. Veres, CPA, CGMA Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands. Blessed are they whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD. Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous deeds. The way of truth I have chosen; I have set your ordinances before me. Give me discernment, that I may observe your law and keep it with all my heart. Lead me in the path of your commands, for in it I delight. And I will keep your law continually, forever and ever. Lk 11:28 Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.
Happiness is like sunshine in London (or Seattle...or Youngstown); it's always there even though you can't necessarily see it every day.
Just because it's raining (or hailing or snowing) and the skies LOOK gray due to all the clouds, I promise you, the sun is still up there shining away, my friends.
It's the same way with happiness. It could be waiting for you up the road, across the street...or in a booth at Bob Evans, yo. #LoveYouJen
Sure, you could be a little down because you failed a test. Or you got a speeding ticket. Or you're undervalued at your job.
Or you're spatting with your honey. Or you miss someone who's far away.
Or your favorite "Survivor" just got voted off the island. (Does anyone even watch that show anymore?)
The point is: some days you just have to generate your own version of sunshine. Simply surround yourself with the people and circumstances that give you warmth, light, comfort, and joy -- and it'll be a sunny day no matter the weather, you dig?
The choice is simple: wallow in gloom or grab one of your besties and splash around in the puddles, Capsice? #LifeIsShort #FindTheHappyInEveryDay
