Earthlings just need to rewind and re-record every now and again, you dig? Well, sometimes again and again, I'm afraid. For instance, here we are, what, two-and-a-half weeks from Easter? And some of us have yet to make good on certain aspects of our Lenten sacrifices. What I mean to say is, I'm 10 outta 10 for the not drinking my fave chocolate coffee. Haven't slipped once. Woot woot! But I would say I'm more like um, 2 outta 10 for not cursin' and only speaking softly and gently. Gulp. In my defense, sometimes the other humans make this a really, really Herculean task, you know what I'm sayin'? Sigh. Not only is that NO excuse but also all the more reason to let only positive adjectives (et al) spill forth from my mouth, yes? YES. So...I'm calling a do-over. #NeverGiveUp The best part is, I can (and will!) keep on a-tryin' --- even after Easter Sunday. It's not like it will suddenly be a great idea to go back to a bad habit just because Lent is over for another year, Capisce? Besides, there's no need to waste a perfectly good do-over.

It has been my observation that, by and large, people suck. The least perfect of all of God's creatures.

A genuine effort toward self-reflection and improvement supersedes the culmination of setbacks that we ALL see mar our progress and best intentions regardless the season or time of year. As human beings we’re ready with our disappointment and critique but our creator is encouraged to see us fighting the good fight, striving to be better and closer to HIM.
