(Again, except for Christmastime...) Ah, don't you just love the promise of summer? Long days filled with brightness...both from the sky and in the form of so many beautiful flowers, plants, and vegetables/herbs. Who doesn't love summer, I ask you? Wait, some of you don't? Okay fine; maybe it gets a little humid some places...or a lot. Or a bit warm...or unbreathably hot. Yes, I suppose an insect or two makes its way into the occasional picnic basket...or house...or car...or down your shirt or sock and bites/stings you repeatedly. Hmpf. What's so great about the cold or the wind or the rain or the SNOW that befalls us during the other icky seasons? Okay, fine, I guess autumn is kind of pretty. The leaves are sorta spectacular, I guess. And spring IS filled with some of the most beautiful buds and lovely scents known to humanism, I suppose. And whatever, I guess you could say that, especially around Christmas, the new snow on the trees and blanketing everything in whiteness COULD be considered rather fabulous, if you're into that. (P.S. I totes am!) So, the moral of today's story is? Happiness doesn't necessarily blow in with weather patterns or seasonal shifts; it's in having the ability to find and focus on what's beautiful about every single moment of this crazy cruise we call life. Now that fills a homosapien with serious smiling-ness, Capisce? P.S. But summer still rules, yo. #LifeIsAGift #BeautyIsAllAroundUs #GodIsGreat #Pray #Smile #Peace
