GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Things go wrong.  Happens every day.  Life on earth is imperfect, yo.

  • The report you just made 525 copies of has a typo...on the cover. #ugh
  • You can't find that $20 you put in your pocket this morning. Man!
  • You hit the mother of all pot holes and bent your tire rim. That's gonna be more than $20, ya dig?
  • You just replied ALL ... with a message about one of the all ... a snarky one. #dontwritebadthingstoanyone
  • The one gift you really, really wanted to be here on time for Christmas morning didn't arrive. And, oh yeah, BTW, it's not coming because it's suddenly out of stock ... indefinitely. #thanksforruiningChristmasamazon
  • You just got hacked and your email is sending SPAM to everyone in your contacts list. #sonofasnapper

Sigh. I get it. But listen, these are mere inconveniences. Little bumps on the rocky road 'o life, true.

Guess what? Unless someone is hurt, very ill (or worse) or committed a heinous act...everything is going to be OK, capisce? Eventually, over time, somehow...it will.

Just breathe. And pray.  And try to smile...He's got you covered. Thumbs up, yo; s'all good.

Alleluia, alleluia. O Key of David, opening the gates of God's eternal Kingdom: come and free the prisoners of darkness! R. Alleluia, alleluia. Gospel Lk 1:26-38 In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And coming to her, he said, "Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you." But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his Kingdom there will be no end ... And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age ... for nothing will be impossible for God." Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word."

Your Grandma used to say, "Never put anything in writing that you wouldn't want to see on the front page of the newspaper."
Good advice, no?
