GRATEFUL GIRL'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
You know, I was never a huge fan of Barrack Obama. I didn't vote for him. Either time. But that's because he and I don't share the same views on some major points; mostly in terms of the Almighty. You see, I strongly believe that the Judeo-Christian principles on which the greatest, most blessed country on earth was founded need to remain our core. I digress.
The thing of it is, is: never once in the eight years Barrack Obama was President of these United States did I ever wish him ill, berate his family or start a riot in the streets. Never did I say, feel or even think alone in a dark room that I wanted to blow up the White House.
In fact, I can appreciate his good attributes. I can clearly see that he's a loving husband and father; a really smart, articulate and frankly funny guy and terrific golfer/baller. Just because I disagree with him doesn't mean I hate him. And as for my friends who love him; I still love them even though, on this point, we differ.
Get it? There's no need for us to be tearing each other apart. Not as Americans, not as colleagues, not as neighbors, not as family members. Peaceable opposing views --- kind of a staple in our cornerstone. Let's get back to a place of calm. #prayingforpeace #cantwealljustgetalong
R. The Lord's kindness is everlasting to those who fear him. But the kindness of the LORD is from eternity to eternity toward those who fear him, And his justice toward children's children among those who keep his covenant. Alleluia Jn 10:27 - My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord;I know them, and they follow me.
