Sponsored by kament@burganrealestate.com There are times in life when you have to take a stand. Sure, we always want to avoid confrontation and coexist peaceably. We always want to be respectful of others and their opinions, beliefs and preferences...even when they are in complete contrast with our own. That's fine. In fact, it's wonderful to offer kindness, compassion and empathy to others. How lovely it would be if we all did this as a rule, not an excpetion in times of crisis. Yet sometimes, you will be forced to not only say what you think but actually show it in your actions. When those times come --and believe me, they will-- look in the mirror. Does your decision make you smile or turn away? Hmm. If faced with taking a hard stand: close your eyes and listen to that tiny voice inside. Some call it wisdom. Some call it conscience. I call it the Holy Spirit. (HINT: If it's telling you to do something that is difficult and unpopular but is courageous and honorable, that's my guy.) You know what you believe. You know who you are and of what you're made. You know where you came from and how you should be running your life to get where you're going, now dontcha? Sometimes, a decision is just like this picture ... black and white. BE BRAVE AND DO THE RIGHT THING. Don't let someone else's doubt change what you know in your heart of hearts is true. If you can just do, well, what's just, you'll have no trouble at all facing that old reflection...or sleeping at night, either, Capisce? P.S. When in doubt, consult emergency reference guide #1 - that really Good Book, yo. #StayStrong #HaveCourage #KeepTheFaith
